When I sat down with one of my good
friends for happy hour about 9 months I was overcome with
the determination during our conversation that I was going to pursue Jewelry (with his help of course). The
only way I can describe it is that it suddenly felt right, and it still does.
The main purpose of my old website was to showcase, not sell. When friends, family, people I didn't know would contact me and say “Hey why don’t you sell” or “Is this for sale” I would get hesitant. However with the help from my friends, and looking around my room which is basically my very own jewelry store, I figured it’s time.
I'll be a jewelry vendor at the Belvedere Holiday Market Event, Saturday December 7th. This is something that I couldn't even consider a few months ago. But now, I’m excited to be a part of this and take my first step which will help me to continue to do more events. What I’m really excited about is being able to meet and engage with costumers right in front of me, and allow them to try on my jewelry and find what best fits them. I'll be bringing my pliers to do on site customization's. If you love it, I want you to have it, and I want it to fit just right.
So I’m excited, I’m nervous, but mostly I’m ready. I still have a lot to do, create, and plan for, but like I've said, everything in moderation.
